The dates for this years TES are as follows:

  • Jan 9 at Mt. Brighton, course #20606, meeting upstairs in the patrol room
  • Jan 16 at Mt. Holly, course #20607, meeting at the top of the mountain lounge (above the ticket office). If location changes, the change will be posted on the door.

Both events are open to basic and senior candidates and patrollers. Basic candidates must have some experience handling toboggans. This event is designed to help improve proficiency or prepare for testing, not provide basic instruction. Typically, participants are divided into two groups, basic and advanced. We will complete a series of exercises to prepare for handling toboggans and improve toboggan handling proficiency.

  • Sign in for instructors is at 8:00.
  • Sign in for participants is 8:30.
  • We plan to be on the hill as close to 9:00 as possible.
  • Final wrap up will be at 2:30, adjournment at 3:00.
